So, I have a cancer causing gene mutation that runs in my family. I found out 4 months after giving birth. I made the very hard decision to get a hysterectomy and not have any more children. I have an almost 1 year old and an almost 4 year old step daughter. As sad as it makes me to not be able to have any more kids I know it's for the best. I can't in good faith have another child and potentially pass down this mutation to them. Mamas who had a hysterectomy young, please tell me your story ♥️

I had my at 33 after going through cancer and chemo . It’s been 2 years since and emotionally it’s hit harder now given time. Physically the changes my body experienced the 1st year were awful and not what I imagined . But as of today emotionally and mentally it’s been a struggle and impacted me more than physical part of it
