Smash Burger Tacos 🌮🍔😃

I have been wanting to try these since I first saw the videos go viral! Tonight‘s tonight! Here’s the recipe I’ll be following 😊

Big Mac Smash Burger Tacos

Ingredients For the smashed tacos:

12 mini flour tortillas 1 pound ground beef (453 grams) salt & pepper 1 tbsp vegetable oil 12 slices of American cheese 1/2 white onion finely diced 24 slices of pickles iceberg lettuce shredded For the sauce:

1/4 cup mayo 3 tbsp ketchup 1 tbsp sweet relish 1 tsp yellow mustard 1/2 tsp white vinegar 1/2 tsp sugar 1/4 tsp paprika 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp onion powder

Instructions Prepare the sauce by combining all the ingredients in a small bowl. Divide the ground meat into 12 equal portions, approximately one small handful each, and shape them into balls. Take a small flour tortilla and place a ball of ground beef on top. Flatten the beef until it covers the edge of the tortilla in a thin layer. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt and pepper. Heat a pan over medium-high heat. Add 1/2 tsp of vegetable oil. Put the tortilla with the meat side down onto the pan. Use the back of a spatula or a burger press to press down, creating a smashed burger effect. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the ground beef is browned. Flip the taco over so that the tortilla side is down. Place a slice of cheese on top and allow it to melt for about a minute. Remove from heat. Add diced onion, shredded lettuce, pickles, and the Big Mac sauce as toppings. Enjoy the taco while it's still warm! Notes Use 80/20 ground beef for juicy smashed burger tacos.

Any melty cheese is great for this recipe such as a slice of American cheese, swiss cheese, or gouda. You can even use the processed cheese (or plastic cheese).

Use flour tortillas to best replicate the taste of burger buns.

Healthy Options 😀

Has anyone else seen the viral videos having to do with cottage cheese? From the cottage cheese and scrambled eggs to the cottage cheese and mustard dip, I have tried them both and absolutely love them! Even the Hubby is on board with both and thinks they’re tasty too!

Scramble up some eggs and mix with a nice helping of low fat cottage cheese. Easy, tasty, and full of protein.

For the dip, which goes well with literally everything. Blend together one cup of no fat cottage cheese, tablespoon of yellow mustard, and a good helping of dill. Very tasty as a vegetable dip or even chicken and sausage dip.

If you know you know ✌️💕😊

Homemade Buffalo Wings 😀

Who doesn’t love buffalo wings! For me it’s that outside fried batter along with the sauce. Nom nom nom 🤤

Ingredients:

About 2 pounds of chicken wings

(I buy them fresh in the package and then cut the wings up myself but you could use frozen wings if you choose to. I find with the fresh wings there is more meat to be enjoyed but yes, cutting the wings up can be tedious.)

One package of Hooter wing breading One SweetBaby Ray’s buffalo sauce Tabasco sauce Oil for frying Gallon Ziploc bags

Directions:

Put an even amount of your wings in 2 gallon, Ziploc baggies, then pour an even amount of the wing breading into both. Close your bags and then shake around until evenly coated. Place in the fridge for at least two hours. This will ensure that the breading becomes attached to the wings. Heat your pan of cooking oil and deep fry your wings until fully cooked. Make sure to gently move the wings around as they fry. A good tip is to watch for the wings floating at the top. Once your wings start to float, and you can see some of the blood seeping through they only have a few more minutes until they are done. Set wings aside to drip dry either on a drying rack or in a bowl with paper towels to soak up the excess oil. Once some of the excess oil is off, the wings placed in a bowl. Coat your fried wings in the sweet baby rays sauce, but also adding a few dashes of Tabasco sauce for a little more kick. Give your wings a few tosses in the bowl to coat them evenly with the sauce. Enjoy.
