So my new nightly decompressing routine is diamond painting and watching murder documentaries. I do watch some on like Hulu and Netflix but mostly on YouTube because I like seeing the interrogations and stuff. Tell me your fav crime watches!!

There’s a lot being uncovered. What’s the most shocking, or newest find that has you down the rabbit hole?

Is it a failure of the individual or a failure of the system? As the Lindsay Clancy trial approaches, the conversation around overmedication and maternal healthcare is more critical than ever. We are watching a tragedy unfold in the courtroom that started long before that day in Duxbury.

It was a case that paralyzed oregon city for seven agonizing months. two best friends… ashley pond and miranda gaddis… vanished just sixty days apart. they disappeared on their way to the same bus stop… from the same apartment complex. the search was nationwide… but the truth… was much closer.

In August of 2002… investigators made a gruesome discovery. the bodies of both girls were found on the property of a neighbor… ward weaver the third. ashley pond had been sealed in a barrel… buried under a freshly poured concrete slab on his back porch. miranda gaddis was found hidden in a storage shed just feet away.

the most chilling detail? weaver was a family friend… whose own daughter was in dance class with the victims. he even gave televised interviews denying involvement while the girls were still buried in his backyard. in twenty-oh-four… weaver pleaded guilty to avoid the death penalty. he is currently serving two consecutive life sentences… without the possibility of parole.

My dad ironically was in jail with him at the arrest so I’ve heard stories but there is no documentaries or podcast about how messed up this case was
