Pregnant with fibroids

Does anyone have any experience of pregnancy with fibroids. Just found out I'm pregnant and worried about what will happen to my fibroids during pregnancy and if they will cause me any issues?

Fibroid Awareness 🤍

I wanted to share my story to create a bit of awareness around fibroids, especially as I know some of us here have gone through or are going through similar experiences.

I’ve been dealing with fibroids for about 2–3 years now. I found out I had fibroids when I was pregnant, and throughout my pregnancy I was in and out of the hospital because of it. Due to the fibroids, I had a C-section, although I’m grateful that I was able to carry my baby to full term.

After giving birth, the fibroids continued to affect my health. My daughter will be two years old in May, and just four weeks ago I finally had fibroid surgery. The fibroid that was removed was very large, and it really made me realise how much my body has been carrying all this time.

It’s been a long and rough journey, but I’m thankful for life and for getting through the surgery. I’m still healing, as recovery takes time, especially with the uterus, but I’m hopeful that I’ll be fine. I’m now focused on healing, staying healthy, and doing my best to prevent the fibroids from coming back.

I just want to encourage any woman going through fibroids or similar health challenges to take things easy, listen to your body, and seek help when you need it. You’re not alone, and your health truly matters 🤍

Miscarriage

Fibroid surgery

Hello I recently just had my fibroid successfully removed literally 3 days ago, still in a lot of pain but manageable i’m off work for a few weeks so i’m going to use this time to heal any advice or anything to expect? I also recently suffered a miscarriage back in August.. still unsure what the case may have been but leaning more towards the fibroid considering the one they just removed was bigger than my uterus & so close to one another they were practically married lol I know i’m not supposed to try again for about 3-6 months but anything i should do to prepare my body for & also things I should eat shouldn’t eat any type of diets, exercise, sleep habits u name it just to prevent from any more coming back! Also happy new year!
