Trichotillomania support

I am about to shave my head for the second time I think!! Why hasn’t anyone come up with an effective solution for trichotillomania yet?

Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone wants to share any tips or tricks they have to distract them from the urge to pull. I pull a lot more in the evening when I am idle e.g. sitting on the sofa watching TV. So I have recently bought an adult colouring book and some pens so I have been doing that instead. Keeps my hands busy and is quite relaxing.

Hi everyone! Can’t remember if I mentioned it in previous posts but last August I shaved my head to a buzz cut as my trich had got so bad. Had a bit of a relapse over the last couple of months because of some stressful life events. But I have now booked myself in to a posh hair salon in London in February as it will be long enough then for a bob style. Hoping this will give me incentive to leave it alone until then! I’m also thinking about selling my very expensive wig eek!!!

How is everyone doing? Anyone need to vent or talk about their trich I’m all ears 🙂

My anxiety & stim picking have been outrageous the past YEAR ‼️ I cut all of my hair OFF to see if that would help. NOPE ! Literally have waves & a huge bald spot . I have terrible migraines from tbi I'm noticing extreme uncontrollable picking after osteopathic manipulation . Dr says it's a stress reaction but idkkk I just want my hair back 😩😓😓
