Common illness
My daughter has just turned 5 and has had quite a few episodes within the last 6 months where she has been sick in the night. On those nights she usually goes to sleep normally with no concerns and will wake up early in the morning (4ish) say she has a bellyache and will be sick. She will also need the toilet a few times after and it has a really horrible smell to it too. But she then seems to be perfectly fine the next day and that’s the end of it! Like up at 7 and usual energy and behaviour, won’t even seem more tired! She will say she’s starving and will want to eat/drink, which I allow but stick to plain foods. And she won’t be sick or need the toilet again.
I’m trying to look out for patterns and tried changing things which may help, like eating earlier so her foods gone down by the time she’s in bed, cutting out dairy, eating clean etc. I just find it quite unusual? Does it just sound like a 12 hour bug everytime or does it sound like something is causing it? She’s seen the gp a few times after the sickness and they usually say gastro bug or viral infection.. My mum has suggested it’s anxiety.. which could make sense as today was meant to be back to school after two week half term.. and this has happened when I have worked long hours etc. Could that be why?
Any advice?!

Baby sleep
I’m worried that my little girl still isn’t dry at night yet, I keep reading that it is hormonal but she has been day trained for 2 years now & never has more than 2 nights and in a row dry and this doesn’t happen very often. I’m worried that she is just too used to seeing in her pull-up. I’ve tried to give it ago with no pull-up and a hygge sheet for the last 5 nights, and there has been 2 occasions where the wetness hasn’t even woken her up. What’s everyone else’s experience? Any one still in pull ups?
