Is it safe to start getting fit during pregnancy?

I’ve put on so much weight since I got pregnant… all over my body not just my belly. My partner is quite clearly repulsed by me and I’m starting to feel embarrassed going anywhere :( is there anything I can do to try and lose it right now? I’m around 6.5 months

Consistency Help

I'm trying to make more of a conscious effort to get back into shape 💪 I know the deal - good protein intake, get your steps in, workout, manage the diet, drink water, don't restrict, etc. And I'll have all this down to a T for a good couple weeks, lose a few pounds and then I just go completely off the rails and undo all my work and then struggle to get back into the routine 😩

What helps you stay consistent and focused on your fitness goals? Because just reminding myself of my goals aren't enough atm. I'm a stickler for routine (✨️on the spectrum✨️) so once I lose a day out of my routine, even after sticking to it for few weeks, I then struggle to get back into it and I spiral 🥴

Any advice or just a kick up the ass will be greatly appreciated 🙏

*just to add I follow Intermittent Fasting, so my eating window is generally from 12/1ish til 7/8ish

  • also, we never have a lot of money so I tend to just make sure there's food in for my partners lunches, my 2yo, and dinners - which I know isn't helpful for me but I'd rather eat less and have food in the house last longer 😪🙈
