Is it safe to start getting fit during pregnancy?

I’ve put on so much weight since I got pregnant… all over my body not just my belly. My partner is quite clearly repulsed by me and I’m starting to feel embarrassed going anywhere :( is there anything I can do to try and lose it right now? I’m around 6.5 months

Hi lovely! It’s absolutely safe (and recommended!) to get fit during pregnancy 🤰 never too late to start! I actually run a prenatal virtual fitness programme if you fancy trying it out - happy to send over more info if you’re interested! Xx

C section

Hi mums I had c section 10 days ago and was taking paracetemol and ibuprofen regularly
I stopped taking ibuprofen last night as was upsetting my tummy but noticed this morning how much pain I’m in without it.
Does it really do much for the pain? I was only taking paracetemol.
How long was you on pain killers after c section?

Did you poop during labour?

Huge baby!

Is it just me or are these 2026 babies built differently? My 7 week old baby is outgrowing EVERYTHING. He's in 0-3 month clothing but I genuinely don't think I've got much more room in it... For comparison, here's my first born in a onesie at 4 months old Vs my 7 week old in the exact same onesie 🫣🤣 think I'm going to be reaching the 3-6 months out sooner rather than later 🤣

Induction

I’m currently 38 weeks today. I have a scan on Monday as baby has been measuring bigger but not too big. On Tuesday I have a consultant appointment where they will give me a sweep.

They have advised that they do not want me going past my due date due to babies size, GD and strep B.

However, I never had any of this with my first baby and I’m so nervous and scared. I really don’t want an induction. Has anyone ever been in this or a similar situation?

All I hear about inductions is negative, a lot of pain and most end up in a c-section.
