Pregnant Pcs

Omg, so this week I am 32 weeks. Monday marks 33. We just got word that we need to leave by July 1st and PCS across the way. Aka, either a 3-4 day drive or a 5ish hour flight. Please, are there any women who have flown this pregnant before. I already confirmed with OB that she recommends flying should hault at 37 weeks and most airlines won't do it anyway.

I am feeling so anxious, it is my first baby, and I really don't want to end up in a postion where my husband cannot attend the birth. Please, if anyone has done it how was the experience? I'm not high risk, I have had no complications.

Making friends

other wives

Any military wives in Anchorage looking for new friends? 😊 I’m trying to meet other military wives/moms to hang out with, do coffee runs, playdates, shopping trips, or just have someone to talk to 😂

Baby sleep

PCSing with your babies

Hello! I am currently in PCS hell and trying to pack a house with and infant and toddler. Just wondering if any of you have some tricks? Currently my infant is super teething and only naps for 15 mins at a time and hates to be put down 🫠 My toddler is a slightly less of a challenge but needs to be entertained and gets into EVERYTHING as we pack. I can’t get anything done! Help!

Loneliest deployment

Just as simple as that. I have no one.

They say deployment is when you find your village and mine sucks.

I don’t want to blame my parents because in all honestly it’s my sisters fault why they aren’t around much.

She’s in her 30’s. Can’t get her shit together. So my parents have her kids. Pretty much starting over again for them.

And I get it. But it’s still the fact that I can’t rely on them for help.

MIL? Forget it. She lives 10 min away. Never comes by. Sure we talk. But that’s about it. She refuses to come over if the kids are sick and I get not wanting to get sick…. But I’m one person and when all 3 of my kids are sick I need help. And can’t rely on her. She just says “let me knew when they’re better I can’t afford to get sick”

Like yeah me either? Regardless if I do or not because who else is gonna do this?

FIL? Forget that too. He’s always in an out of town and never reliable either.

BIL? Never been alone with a kid. Much less doubt he could change a diaper. And lives far anyways.

Friends? Barely.

One friend has 6 or her own kids so I would never put that on her especially since she has a new baby at home.

And my other friend is also a wife of deployment and she’s the only one who initiates plans with me and me with her, but we’ve all been sick. And she also lives almost 2 hrs away.

My kids have been puking on and off since Friday. I haven’t showered in literally days. Sleep is next to nothing because even when they nap someone manages to throw up and I have to clean up. And when that’s done the other kids throw up. It’s just constant all day.

Then when they go to bed. My son is puking randomly throughout the night. And then my middle child throws up and everytime I shut my eyes something happens 😭😭

Went to walk in the kitchen to discover my son puked all over the floor and I stepped in it.

I feel defeated. I’m exhausted and I have no one to help me try to recoup over here. I’m being pulled in every direction and I think I’m starting to become delirious.

Anywho that’s my vent. Please pray for me and that my kids get over whatever this is 😭
