Ovulation tests

Experience with clomid?

Hi lovelies 💕 I get ovulation around cd24 on a 29 day cycle, making my luteal phase only about 4-5 days long. I track with 3 things- bbt, ovulation strips and observing discharge. I have read many womens experiences in the internet and found a few whose experience was very similar to mine. Yesterday I went to see a gynaecologist and she basically told me that I am making this up and short luteal phases don’t excist in women who otherwise have regular periods. She did not even want to do any tests because everything is “perfectly fine” because I DO ovulate and I DO have periods. 🙄 I read that people with my experience have taken clomid and that has helped them to ovulate earlier and get a longer luteal phase. I am just wondering how did you get a doctor to prescribe you clomid? Because they first have to believe in what is happening. 31 am y/o.

Ovulation tests

Short luteal phase

So me and my partner have been ttc since June 1st 2024 after I came off the implant May 23rd 2024 (didn’t count the very first period after the removal) so it’s not been a year yet! However I’ve noticed my cycles have been irregular in terms of length and I’ve noticed after tracking temp and confirming ovulation that I have a luteal phase of 9-10 days with it averaging on 10 days. I had a chemical in July as well and have no known fertility issues. I’m afraid that the fact my luteal phase short is the reason it’s not “sticking”. I’m also 25 in February and doubt a gp would see me yet due to my age but don’t want to leave it “too late” either? Any advice would be much appreciated ❤️

Help

So I think I have short luteal phases.

Last month I ovulated around day 17. Until about day 19. Then 4/5 days later AF arrived.

This month I took a break from ovulation tracking and I was on holiday so I don’t know if I’ve ovulated but AF arrived at least 2 weeks before it should have?

I’m just worried that my egg isn’t even having a chance to fertilise so pregnancy will be non existent atm!

Early pregnancy symptoms

Unexpected bleeding

I have been taking cyclogest for the past 2 months as my fertility consultant suspects I may have short luteal phase. This seems to have worked. However, for the past 3 days I have been bleeding unexpectedly. I am not in the lteal phase, i am exodcting to ovulate in the next few days. This bleeding is heavier than I would normally have in the luteal phase, more like a period but without any cramps. My period ended about a week before this started. Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be side effects of the medication?

Some hope for short luteal phase

Today at 9 DPO I got my first ever faint positive. Before this I had a really short luteal and phase for 4 cycles since coming of the pill.

Things I did differently: -seed cycling -quitting caffeine and all alcohol

  • vitamins d, iron, folic acid and B and pregnacare vitamin -yoga videos for fertility

Was taking agnus castus and CoQ10 for around 4 weeks but stopped as it seemed to be delaying my ovulation.
