PCOS - it doesn’t mean infertility

Often women are diagnosed with PCOS when struggling to conceive. I had PCOS my whole adult life and struggled to get pregnant but discovered it is possible with few simple tricks! I wish someone would have told me before we wasted 3 years in trying. This group is about sharing experiences and best practices for women affected by PCOS who are trying to conceive, are already pregnant or are dealing with post-partum.

Anyone else had the same?

Last month used Flo app and I ovulated same week according to the app and ovulation test strips. However I'm not due for 2 weeks and getting extremely hot lots last few days. Dunno if it's worth checking strips now or waiting it out another two weeks and testing then. It's weird because it was dead on accurate last month

IVF

Has anyone had positive stories of conceiving via IVF if you have PCOS? If so, how many cycles did it take you? Thanks

What to get checked

Good morning. I’ve been diagnosed with pcos for about two years now and all I got was confirmation because of my cysts and was put on birth control. It has gotten so much worse to the paint that my hair is falling out badly 😞 my doc told me my thyroid was a bit swollen a year ago and i guess things are getting worse. I’m going to the gynecologist in a week what should I ask for? I want them to check EVERYTHING what lane or test should I have them run? I pay $90 per visit and I can’t even afford that so I want to make my visits worth it. Thank you in advance
