I want to know if I am approaching this correctly or am I scaring my child too much.

My 2 5month old sons throws his toys n things of choice on the ground (not always, as he plays with his toys too).

But yesterday evening I said that I will put the toys in the bin if he doesn't pick them up. I also said that the garbage truck will take them away. He looked at me with a concerned face (the toys were not put away at this time).

A little later on he was throwing things while we were upstairs n I said the same. He looked concerned n a little sad and we picked up the things together.

Was I a little harsh in this approach? Was a using a scare tactic here to get the result I want? I have been approaching this through gentle parenting techniques but sometimes become impatient n say No or sometimes I don't say anything at all.

I believe this is normal behaviour for this age. I don't want to scare him. Maybe I can use this approach sometimes but not all the time.

Any idea as to why I have a really really bad sharp intense stabbing pain in my right shoulder at 35 weeks pregnant?

Had a midwife appointment last week which I was measuring a bit off 32 weeks, had a growth scan which has shown baby hasn’t gained enough weight compared to my 20 week scan. They’ve sent it to the consultants. Just wondering if anyone else has had this too and what happened?
