September 2020 Babies 🇨🇦

Anyone else have a toddler not in daycare or preschool? My daughter is 3 years old and while her father and I go to work her grandmother watches her however she stays at home. I’m worried because she doesn’t interact a lot with children her own age daily that her social development is gonna be affected. I’ve tried getting her into preschool/daycare but all the wait lists are too long so I don’t think that will happen and she will have to wait until next year when she starts school. She is an only child and doesn’t have any cousins to have play dates with either. I thought her staying home and not going to daycare when she was younger was the best thing but now I regret it, any suggestions on what to do?

I know she would love being with other kids more I just don’t know what to do

So my 2 year old has fought me all fall to wear a jacket n shoes but now that it's winter and freezing it's worse she won't even keep socks on nevermind boots and if I fight her, hold her to get her gear on she takes it off as we're walking out the door or in the car. I'm so tired of feeling like a bad mom everytime we have to go somewhere my kid looks like she's freezing or not dressed appropriately but it's definitely not for lack of effort. I'm due next week and have an older child so I really need her to get on board with me when we're getting ready to go. Any suggestions that you found worked ?

Hey mamas! I’m a first time mom and was never really around kids before becoming a mom. What outerwear should I be looking at for spring for my 18m old? I just ordered her some rain overalls, a light waterproof jacket and some rain boots. What other kind of shoes should I get? Any advice is appreciated. We moved here in December from the Caribbean so getting used to seasonal clothing is a big shift for me lol. 🤦🏽‍♀️
