Greece hotel recommendations

Looking for recommendations for 5* AI hotels on any of the Greek islands. Must have a choice of al la carte restaurants included, a splash park for young children, decent cocktails and wine (no upgrade when you get there) and less than an hour transfer πŸ™πŸ»

Edit -not Eden roc as we’ve stayed there recently and wasn’t impressed πŸ™ˆ

Opinion

My baby is 8 months old and my partner would like us to travel from the UK to Greece twice in July.

I'm feeling hesitant. My main concern is the heat, as July can be extremely hot, and I'm worried about keeping a baby comfortable and safe. I'm also thinking about disrupted sleep, travel stress, routines, and whether two separate trips in one month is simply too much.

For parents who have travelled with babies around this age, am I being overly cautious, or are these reasonable concerns? If you've travelled to Greece or another very hot country in summer with a baby, how did it go and what would you do differently?

I'd appreciate honest experiences from both sides.

Travel with kids

What would you do?

My father in law has booked a chalet for skiing with the family in January. It’s only for 6 days, take away 2 of those for travelling. 4 days of skiing but we will have a nearly 3yo and a 6 month old, so will be limited depending on family willing to help with childcare.

We missed this last trip due to my toddler being 7 months and he was an extremely tricky baby, my husband was devastated.

I promised we’d do the next one but I really can’t justify it, it’s going to cost 2-3k as my only alternative is to find another chalet to extend our time out there. I can’t justify two full days of travelling with two little ones for such a small amount of time there.

I’ve never been skiing either, his whole family are experienced. We’d be out there with his 3x sisters, only one has kids.

I don’t want my toddler to miss out on these opportunities, I really don’t! But it’s filling me with anxiety already. They want to get it all booked!
