Hi all, I’m new here and this is my first post! I have been TTC for over 9 months now, I’ve been trying to do it with little pressure (that’s not going well!) so I haven’t used ovulation tests before. I was just looking for some help on when I should use them? Do I use them when I’m on my period or straight after? Or do I do one every day? Any help with this is appreciated, TIA😊

Do you have pcos or any other conditions? I ask bc some of the opks dont work for people with pcos. (Me)

Hi!!
I have been using ovulation tests for about 4 months now.
The first day I’m off my period I start taking them and don’t stop until my next period starts.
I buy Pregmate on Amazon!

Hi! I use Apple health to track my cycles and they give a fairly accurate window of when to start testing. I make sure that aligns with the timing on ClearBlue ovulation testing guide. I.e if your cycle is 28 days, count the start of your period as day one and then on day 8 start the ovulation testing. If your cycle is thirty days long, start on day 10. I’ve gotten peak readings two months now using that guidance. Hope things go well!

Hey Mollie! I use the easy@home ovulation strips along with the Premom app. Been TTC 9 months as well. My period is super irregular so I start testing around day 8 of my cycle (so not during my period) and then I continue to test until my next period starts.

Hi Mollie, I’m new too! I only used ovulation strips for two months of trying before giving up. It just gives me unnecessary anxiety

Hi Mollie! I would start testing on CD 8/9, so after your period, and keep testing until you get a positive. As you get to know your body, you may want to start testing later in your cycle. This also depends on your cycle length. I found I usually get a positive LH test on CD 14 to 17. It varies month to month a little bit. Don’t get discouraged. I couldn’t find my peak the first month I started testing. I only test once a day, but I know many people test twice a day. Whatever you decide, just make sure it’s at the same time everyday. Best of luck to you!!

Hi Mollie , I started using Mira fertility cuz nothing else been working

Hey there, I usually start testing for ovulation a like cd10 and I take one a day then started taking two a day when it has two dark lines

Hi mollie ! I use the pre mom app and the easy at home test strips. I start tracking around cd 9 and then stop just after I start decreasing after my LH peak 👍
