For those of you who lose weight in the first trimester because of nausea/vomiting/ food aversion, do you count the pregnancy weight gain from your normal weight or from the weight at your lowest point around end of first trimester ? I lost like 8 pounds so far and not sure if I should add those pounds back as a starting point when it starts to grow…😅

Not a clue but I lost a stone and 9lbs and I've only gained about 4lbs back xx

I lost 6kg, 😞

I believe it goes by pre-pregnancy weight, not your lowest pregnancy weight

Yes! I count it a lot lol everytime I go to my doctor appointments, I see that I gained some pounds but I have to remind myself that I am pregnant and that my baby is the reason I weigh so much 😂

I lost over 10 pounds and now have to gain 25, they have me starting at my current weight

My doc counts from my pre-pregnancy weight. I also had a decrease due to really bad morning sickness, but have gained it back so they’re not too concerned. ☺️

I lost 20 pounds in my first 2 months of pregnancy. When I would go to the doctors and see that I gain like 5 pounds back they would then say I've only lost 15 pounds. They added it back to mine if that makes sense? Hope that helped a bit! 😁

I lost 22kg in trimester one and two and gained very little
No one has weighed me since booking appointment and now 36 weeks so I do not think it matters

Lost over 30lbs since February now it’s July and I just gained 2lbs back even tho I have Hypermesis

I added from pre pregnancy weight. I lost about 8lbs in the first trimester

Pregnant for my 3 rd child I gained over 10 pounds and only 7 weeks pregnant is this normal?

I counted it from pre pregnancy... I lost over a stone in first trimester... I'm currently 36wk2d and I'm 3 lbs heavier than I was when I found out I was pregnant
Same with my first lost at begining and ended up 7lbs heavier at the end

I lost a total of 11 lbs in the first trimester, i have gained in total up to 30 weeks 25lb including the lose. I still struggle with food but it got better in the 3rd trimester.

Just eat a balanced diet do you! If your Dr. is concerned he will let you know what can you do. Enjoy this time! 😘😘😘 btw I lost 18 pounds with my fist pregnancy and she turned out to be the best out of all my pregnancies (she was the only full term baby I had at 36wks)...

I counted from my pre pregnancy weight

I added from prepregnancy weight. Mind you I didn't start weighing myself until halfway through the second trimester but could visibly see I lost some weight in the beginning

I only lost 5 pounds but I didn't count them when I put them back on. I went from my pre pregnancy weight and have put on about 8 pounds from that at 26 wks.

I've literally gained about a lb since May lol 😆 tbf I can't eat a massive amount, there just isn't the room anymore lol xx

Counted from the beginning. I've gained more than I liked( 15-20lbs) this early at 12 weeks, but I quit fasting, keto & smoking right away & food was if I see it I eat from the time I found out to about 8-9 weeks so I'm thinking all considered I'm okay. Now I'm just managing a healthy diet. Also with energy coming back I'm hoping to get some walking and exercise in as well.

My starting was 185, mid was 150, end was 175! My nurses were always concerned until I explained my CONSTANT morning sickness. They STILL used 185 as my start, and 175 as final. They just kept a closer eye on the qctual baby's measurements

Hang in there! I lost almost 15 lbs because the morning sickness became anytime of the day sickness lol. My weight gain really took off at 27 weeks. I was 170 when I got pregnant, and was 215 when I gave birth. I'm 2 months postpartum, and I'm 180 now.

I lost 5 lbs too in my 1st trimester from all the hurling and not eating enough. I started at 127, then down to 122, then up to 150.

Don't worry too much. Eat when you can or when you are hungry. If you are doing what you can and what feels right, you are doing good. I ate like a pig and my mother in law kept warning me about getting fat... but I lost it all about 9 or 10 months into breast feeding lol gave that baby all my fat.

I lost 25 lbs in all my pregnancies just count from where you start

Because I was rushed to hospital with how sick I was my midwife has been monitoring my weight gain from my lowest weight. I'm 32 weeks and my current weight is only just back to where it was before and I'm still suffering with sickness nearly everyday. Don't worry so much about your weight as long as you baby is growing and your bump size is increasing at a good rate
