Puppp is horrible! Itched so much I caused bruising all over my body. I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy! I also got it a few days after giving birth, never while pregnant. I tried everything!!!! Antihistamines, ice baths and cold compresses, grandpa pine tar soap, Sarna lotion, my own gentle skincare line Romer, topical clobetasol perscribed by OB and eventually an oral steroid. Finally in the clear with remaining itchies on my legs. Took me 3 weeks to get rid. Bottom line - it sucks.
1) try not to itch, my husband made me wear ski gloves around the house
2) no hot showers, anything too hot activates the sh*t out of it!
3) try every method of relief out there, you will need them all.

I’m 2 weeks postpartum and got PUPPPS one day after birth 😭 still dealing with the itch and rash, it’s spread all over my body 😭

I feel like it’s slowly going away and I’m 2 weeks postpartum 😭 I’ve also tried everything!!
Pine tar soap, cold compresses, tea tree oil, coconut oil, calamine lotion, antihistamines 😭😭
It’s so hard not to scratch 😭
But I do scratch it but I notice I’m bruising and bleeding a little bit 😭 I hope it goes away soon this has been the worst for me postpartum 😭😭

I’m doing scalding hot showers on the affected areas at the moment I read it on a blog! It’s the only thing giving me any kind of relief.
I’m going to order the cherry juice now as I’ve seen a few people mention it. Dairy and gluten is new news!.. it really is making this time so difficult 😩 it’s unbearable isn’t it! Thanks for replying by the way!
