Have you looked into a cup instead? Less messy and super comfortable.

I don't know much about reusable pads but period underwear is very accessible now! Modi bodi have a sale at the moment, they're probably the best in my opinion and bonds are good!
Even cotton on are selling them now, not sure on the quality though!

I use cheeky wipes period pants. So comfy. Not as expensive as some but definitely not cheap and nasty. They are amazing.
They do all sorts of different things, nappies, pads, wipes, make up stuff. Fab.

I just bought some from Amazon. But they don't have a stay-dry layer on top, so they're not as comfortable as ones that I've made myself. I'm a seamstress, so making them wasnt an issue for me. But I don't have a recommendation of one with a stay-dry layer on top. Just something to look for when you do decide to purchase though. It makes a huge difference!

I was gifted some reusable nappies that are a really good quality. They’re from hippybottomus who also sells reusable pads. I haven’t tried them personally but if they are like the nappies I’m sure they’ll be well made/long lasting

My main suggestion would be don’t overthink it. I’m sure you’ve never spent hours researching your current product and trying to work out what’s best for you. You bought a packet and liked it or didn’t.

It’s basically the same with reusable pads. The only way to know what you’ll get on with is to try. Some places do mixed sets, which can be good. I use cheeky wipes ones, mainly because wanted to try their pants as back ups so tagged a couple of pads onto the order.

I’ve used a few different brands of reusable pads and I think the ones I like the best are Rael brand. The shape is a tad different than most other reusable brands, which I like. And they just seem to be made really well. Plus, the fabric is very soft and comfortable and the “wings” are great—something a lot of other brands don’t have.

They are a bit pricier than other brands, but compared to the other cheaper brands that I own, they are sooo much better. You can get them at their www.getrael.com website as well as on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/Hesta-Organic-Reusable-Menstrual-environment-friendly/dp/B011ZBFOLM

Look into the shoot what's it called....the flex cup! I haven't bought it yet. But it has a loop at the end to easily get it out. Figure out hoe far up your cervix is. Mine isn't that far. But I did have sex once with it in and man it was hard to get out lol but I did! It won't stay stuck

i want to love these. But ive been using one for 8months now and i gave up literally this month. Lood stilleaks out so i still use a pad while wearing it. Ive watched so many youtube videos and used different methods. ....just not for me i guess

okay ill try that. Thanks

I got some 100% cotton ones from etsy and I swear by them. I initially got them as I was having irritation from the disposable pads but I won't be going back regardless. Highly recommended 👌

Lost friends since being a mum

Good morning! Can anyone relate to this!

My two friends and me have always been close since our early teens. I’m the first to have a baby.

One friend has big house, career and boyfriend

Other out of a long term relationship and being single having fun etc

Before baby we would all hang at my
Apartment, chat eat and just have
Fun.

Now I don’t even get a text to ask how my baby is, how I am. I really thought they would be awesome aunties. But honestly they don’t care.

They meet up a lot to do cool things, which I can’t be upset about as I can’t as I have my baby.

I don’t know I feel sad about it.

Am I over reacting?

31 weeks pregnant and lonely

How to deal with loneliness in pregnancy when your boyfriend goes out with his friends drinking 😅🥲 I only have three friends, two are never really free and one lives back in Liverpool and has her own set of friends where she goes to raves and goes on holiday with them lol. My boyfriend is going out soon for the night as it’s sunny and I’ll just be sat here crying like every single time! When does it stop 🤣
