My 2022 goal was to have a self care day once a month. We are now in April and I've had ZERO 🤣
I have gotten into a very strong skin care routine though, so that actually makes me feel a bit better because I've spoiled myself with higher end products. One day I'll get my self care day 🤷

April I’m with you! Need one! I think you just need to pick a day and stick with it! I need to do that myself just so hard because my little guy is 8 months and will only nurse so have only I can barely leave him. Why do moms always put themselves last!

I do something for myself EVERY day! But I have several hours of dedicated me time on Sundays. It’s time blocked on my Google calendar so it’s a non-negotiable.

I definitely need 1 of those! I usually try to do it like if I know my husband has something planned with his friends & their kids. That's my chance to go do something for myself. Like yesterday his buddy had a kid's birthday party & I had already told him I wasn't going, even tho he really wanted me to, I needed the time to myself. This morning he was already complaining about the experience, how he wasn't able to drink with his buddies 😒 cus he had to be a dad. Welcome to my everyday 🤷♀️😅

Hahaha right isn’t that funny when the husbands do that!

Right! My husband has made comment about having to babysit our son to his friends and Im like no honey it’s called parenting!

Wander around Target and before I leave the house I let my husband know that I will be spending money on random, cute things. Also soak in the tub for 30 min- 1 hour. Working out alone while listening to music or a podcast is so wonderful. Soak my feet, exfoliate, soak, exfoliate, shea butter and sock time!

I set aside 45 min for stretching, yoga or workout every morning. I wake with anxiety most days and this burns that right off and centers me for the day. Yes I get up extra early and yes it's worth it!

I try to do something for self care every day. When I succeed I’m happier and more relaxed

I've been exploring different types of routines through YouTube. In the past - heavy rock and roll and weights till you drop. I'm enjoying kalestenics at home now alot more, set to whatever tempo I want my day to have.

Kalestenic??
