Has anyone dated while pregnant. What was your experience like? Did you meet men who had empathy and genuinely wanted to get to know you or fetishized you and just wanted to have a good time?
If you did have a good experience did this person turn into a long term partner?
The father has abandoned me pregnant after already having a 3 year old and I honestly don't want to go through pregnancy alone and genuinely want to move on with life. It was a very dramatic ending turned into DV on his part so there's no going back for me.

Baby loss
Hey guys - looking for positive stories
Was anyone's baby daddy not like great through pregnancy but actually fix up once baby arrived? To be a good dad and good partner?
In the depths of it right now almost 6 months pregnant with a planned baby, but baby dad has been pulling away, leaving the relationship becuase I think hes having a mental breakdown.

Help!!!! FTM here, LO is 3 months and is a major velcro baby with bad reflux who really struggles to be put down for any amount of time. I'm 37 and now rethinking life. I never thought I would feel like this, but I just so badly want to be a SAHM for at least the first year or two. I have such bad anxiety about sending my kiddo to daycare (we have an in home daycare provider lined up for when my maternity leave ends in a few weeks). I also really thought I would miss my job (I loved my job so much before my LO was born). We also bought a new house as our old one was so small and we wanted something he could grow into with our LO. Now I'm hating the fact that we absolutely need two incomes to pay our bills (we did before the move, but the mortgage increase really solidified that need). I just hate the idea of going back to work so badly now that it almost makes me physically sick. I have no idea how to try to make up enough income at home part-time to try to make it work to stay home, and transitioning to part-time/reducing hours is not an option at my current job.
I need advice - how do I live with the guilt of sending my velcro baby to daycare where he won't get the attention he needs/wants, or that I so badly wish I could keep giving him? I know this feeling will probably change later, and I'll eventually enjoy being back at work, but I just can't imagine leaving my LO every day right now 😭 I need advice on how to cope with all of this!

We have a two year old and I’m a stay at home mom. My husband has been laid off and didn’t send out a resume due to his own anxieties for 6 months. We are on month 8 of no income.
I’m wondering if other moms have dealt with something similar after having a child, and what happened afterward.
My husband and I had a very intense conversation late at night that went on for about 3 hours. The topics were heavy and included a concern involving our toddler, some of my own possible childhood trauma, and ways I’ve felt unsupported/protected by him in the past. Looking back, I absolutely think I should have put the brakes on the conversation much sooner. I’m working on making serious conversations much shorter, more bite sized, and preferably scheduling them during the day.
He became extremely angry afterward. There was door/object slamming and other physical expressions of anger that felt intimidating to me. The next day there was more anger over relatively ordinary interactions. He then left to stay at a hotel and has been gone for multiple days, with me handling our toddler and household responsibilities (I do have some childcare help).
After having substantial time away, he sent me an extremely angry email. Among other things, he called my behavior “disturbing and disgusting,” repeatedly told me to “fuck off”/“shut up,” described me as “completely unhinged,” said my anxiety was “CONTAGIOUS AND KILLING ME,” and said he had gotten so angry that he “want to break things.” He described leaving as an attempt to create distance/de-escalate.
What particularly shook me was that before receiving that email, I had directly told him that his physical expressions of anger had made me uncertain about what he was capable of when extremely angry, and I asked him explicitly to reassure me that he would never physically hurt me or our toddler. He never answered that question.
He has now largely stopped communicating with me and isn’t actively participating in parenting while he’s away. I’ve continued sending necessary updates about our toddler but haven’t tried to make him discuss the relationship.
We are already in couples therapy, and our therapist has the messages/email and knows what is happening. I’m trying to hold two things at once: I recognize that I overwhelmed my husband with a much too long, intense nighttime conversation and need to change that. But his response feels like something qualitatively more serious than an ordinary bad argument.
Have any of you experienced a partner becoming this angry and then completely withdrawing for days? Did they eventually take genuine responsibility and change how they handled anger/conflict, or did this become a recurring pattern? What did meaningful repair actually look like for you?
