Discharge

Hi I’m 4weeks pregnant and this is my first pregnancy. I haven’t had too many symptoms just yet and I’m worrying that things aren’t happening the way they should. The only thing I have noticed is I have been experiencing very watery discharge. Is this normal?

I think that’s normal.. during pregnancy I kept myself busy so I won’t think of negativity or whatever the uncertain future may be. I listened to lots of positive podcasts, read books, play games, exercise, go out for a walk, clean the house, listen to music, like whatever is possible… be positive and everything will be ok… your baby will thank you :))

Be easy on your self love. Enjoy your pregnancy. I know you may feel fear and overthink. Discharge is normal but if you have a gut feeling something is wrong I would reach out to an obgyn. 🙏🏽💕🌻 Congratulations 🎉 by the way.

Thankyou both, I realise I probably am just overthinking everything right now. I think once I have had an appointment with my doctor/midwife things will start to become more believable and a lot more relaxed and I can enjoy the journey

Don’t worry lovely, I had hardly anything for a few weeks, then the nausea hit 😅 but it hugely varies from person to person.. I took a test every 4/5 days for my own peace of mind for a couple of weeks, and had a private scan at around 7/8 weeks to help bridge the gap between the first positive and the 12 week NHS scan ❤️

This was really normal for me, I often felt like I had wet myself but it did settle! Now 34+5 😅

I’m 20+4 and aside from tiredness and odd aches and pains I have breezed through. Didn’t even get that tired until trimester two 🙈 don’t worry too much about lack of symptoms. My discharge was also quite heavy xx

4 weeks pregnant means you've actually only had a fertilised egg inside you for 2 weeks (long story short pregnancy weeks are counted from 14 days prior to fertilisation, I know, it's stupid). It's probably only implanted in your uterus in the last week-ish. Your hormones will not have changed drastically in that time just enough to show on tests. Despite what Hollywood shows, it can take a while before you start to get symptoms (and morning sickness is not always first, if you're lucky you'll skip that all together). Basically what I'm saying is that what you're experiencing (including the worrying) is perfectly normal.

Thanks both, that’s definitely putting my mind at ease. I realise it’s more of an other thinking phase at the minute but im sure it will all get easier the more and more time go on and I am very excited for it to 😊

I’ve also experienced watery discharge and I’m just 4w1d. It comes in waves but I don’t think it’s concerning. Stay positive and you will be fine. X

I think it’s completely normal. I felt like that too. I had some symptoms right at first and then everything went away until about 7-8 weeks when the exhaustion and nausea hit. I also had some discharge right at first. It went away second trimester and now that I’m 40w6d there is a lot again. It’s all normal.

I should imagine it’s all hormone related that’s why you get a lot of discharge. But beware ladies if you get watery discharge and there’s quite a lot around week 24-25 please get checked. My LB was born premature at 25 weeks ( 4 years ago now) and I had a lot of watery discharge little did I know it was my waters slowly leaking and 2 days later I gave birth

Congratulations Holly! I'm 4 weeks pregnant too, and have been worrying about the lack of symptoms. My boobs were a bit sore on Sunday but today I just don't "feel pregnant" if that makes sense?! I never thought I'd be wishing to feel nauseous 😂

I'm here to chat if you're looking for someone in the same boat, it's bloody scary, but super exciting! ✨ X

11 weeks pp and pregnant?!

Im absolutely shitting myself, me and my partner have been so carefull (we use condoms and he also pulls out) but im late on my period and i cant get to the shop for a few days due to no car and im thinking im possibly pregnant. When i was pregnant before the animals were different the dog became more protective of me and the cat hated me and always tried to bite me. and they have recently been the same. Im trying to think if i have any possible early symptoms so i can convince myself im not 😂 the only thing i have is feeling sick alot and nauseous lol.
what was everyones first symptoms when you’ll were pregnant???

Is this dress yes or a no?

We are going to Japan for 3 weeks in July and 13 of those days we are on a cruise. There is a bunch of formal nights and formal events and for some of them I’m doing a 80’s glam theme. I already got the dresses for those but I’m looking for some fun and fancy dresses that aren’t vintage also. I’ve been eyeing this particular dress for MONTHS. I kind of love it, but I think it might also be too weird 😆. What do you think?

Weight loss jabs

Is or has anyone been on wegovy or similar whilst also breast feeding? Did you find that it impacted your supply? Please no judgy comments. I'm aware the advice is avoid going on them but I've found out I'm prediabetic. I have pcos and hashimotos so losing weight is near impossible but I feel so awful having put on 10kg from my pre pregnancy weight.
