Postpartum Hives

I’m 8 days pp and I’m having this issue!! So bad my ear are inflamed. I had a C-section and had a bad allergic reaction to the Steri strip, and then the past two days I’ve been breaking out in a rash. Red patches and tiny blisters. I didn’t know if it was related to the Steri strips or the baby shampoo/lotion. My two week follow up isn’t till the 10th and I’m painfully trying to wait it out.

This happened to me 8 days pp! I got hives all over my body. After I spoke to my OB, I took some Benadryl and it cleared to after a few days!

I’m dealing with the same thing! EBF as well! It comes and goes though. It’s so strange!

Makes me feel so much better! It’s the weirdest postpartum symptom and driving me crazy! Thank you!

Strangely enough, both my little lady and I have hives. Mine are only on my chin and neck, and hers is pretty much all over her body. Perhaps the hormones leaving the body?

Try grandpa’s tar soap from Amazon, it really helped me to heal and Benadryl lotion and gel. I toke Benadryl pills as well. The itch is horrible I know
