Hemnes daybed guardrail.
Hi all,
We will be transitioning my 2.5 year old to the IKEA Hemnes daybed soon. I’m wondering if anyone has found a guardrail that attaches to the bed to prevent the child from falling out. All the ones I’ve looked at don’t seem to be compatible.

IKEA do a clip-on side rail that's meant to fit any toddler bed without drilling holes. I've not tried it but seem to remember it was only about £10 so might be worth a try?

My little one has been in a day bed for about 8ths, I just transitioned her from her cot by putting the open side next to the wall until she got used to the new bed and then after a few weeks I put the closed side next to the wall. She’s never fallen out! Sorry it’s not what you asked but it definitely worked for us!
