That sounds like thrush. Have you been and any antibiotics or used a perfumed product down below? I used to use a radox shower gel and it started me itching. I kept getting itchy every month after my period and I thought I was reacting to tampax and pads. In the end i went to pharmacy and they gave me caneston tablet and cream to treat myself and my husband. I was shocked as my hubby had no signs or symptoms but we were passing it back fourth to each other. This was two years and we have had nothing since xx

Hi Hannah.
I’ve had exactly this problem this week!
It sounds like thrush. I went to the GP mid week and she confirmed it was thrush, which is common in women going through menopause as the oestrogen becomes low, she prescribed a pessary and cream and I’m pleased to say, it’s almost gone.
Pop to the gp and get some help xx

Hello ladies... Try to wash it with apple cider vinegar with water... It works for me.. Do research first 👍

Itching and discomfort and extra discharge are all common signs of low oestrogen. This is often called vaginal dryness, however is anything but in my case!! I was prescribed a topical oestrogen in pessary form which has helped. The itching at night is still awful at times. I use an oil I bought which is soothing but no cure!
