My baby has this all over his face, neck and a little on his ears. I initially chalked it up to baby acne but there’s just so much of it and his right ear seems a little inflamed/extra bumpy…It doesn’t seem to bother him and I’ve been washing his face with a warm wet cloth. It may just be the flash that’s making it look red right now but it usually doesn’t look like this. I will add more photos in comments.

I think it’s a heat rash my baby had it bad definitely when riding in her car seat

my baby had it really bad around her neck and chest area

My 8 week old has this as well. Consulted with two physicians so far and they believe it’s most likely heat rash from her being in the car seat and without any other symptoms it should resolve. I get it looked at again in a few days will update you then. I have tried to keep it moisturized yet dry and then lightly wash in the bath. Don’t want to scrub or rub it because that seemed to irritate it more.

Mine had it bad like that too! It has slowly been going away but still gets irritated here and there:( my doctor told me to wash his face with a wet cloth everyday to get rid of oils. And i have been giving him oatmeal baths to help soothe it!

My baby had it too, my Dr. friend suggested Vaseline. Ive been using it 2 or 3 times a day for 3 days and her rash is gone and her skin is smooth.

My baby has this as well. My dr said it was cradle cap and that it would resolve on its own.

My one month old has this too, it comes and goes. Some areas are really dry, he even had cradle cap on his eyebrows. I put some vaseline and everything went away in a few hours

You baby boy is adorable!

my baby’s whole body looked like that and they said it was a mix of baby acne and eczema

My baby had something similar and I was told by a dermatologist that our case was neonatal cephalic pustulosis which is a reaction to normal yeast forms that we all have on our skin. Essentially the baby’s skin flora is learning how to adjust to this yeast. It’s not harmful to them and will go away in a few weeks. Wash the affected areas daily with a gentle cleanser and avoid any oils or lotions on those spots

Looks a lot like baby acne to me! Mine had the exact same and it cleae within 2-3 weeks (just warm water on a cotton cloth twice a day as recommended by my pediatrician) it did look like it was getting worse (flaky) before it cleared up completely

My lil momma is 6 weeks old took her for a weight check yesterday with similar symptoms I said heat rash too it kinda comes and goes the Dr said neonatal acne, may flair up when baby gets over heated and it's harmless will go away on it's own the lactation specialist came in and told me put a lil breastmilk on it it helps the skin and if I have milk left over from a feeding to put it in her bath she said breastmilk is good for lots of things for mommy and baby hope this helps

My 6 week old baby has that. She had it since she was 2 weeks old. Our pediatrician said it’s baby acne and don’t put anything on it. It’ll go away after a month or two. But what I did, i started putting breastmilk on them and now her face is starting to clear up

Looks like acne. Ours had it, dr said not to put any products on it and that it would clear on its own. She is 7 weeks now and it is almost entirely resolved.

I love Aveeno. That's all I used for my daughter,I need to get some for my son. I've been using CeraVe mixed with my breastmilk but I don't think it's working very well.

My son is going through that now. I've noticed my breastmilk with his body wash and shampoo but it's still there, they are drying out but I hate seeing his face like that. Makes me think wtf am I doing wrong. I mostly do skin to skin with him so maybe it's the body wash I use but his pediatrician said he's fine and it's normal but she says it's cradle cap. He has dry patches in the back and side of his head as well. I'm so worried my baby will lose hair and be itchy from it so I bathe him every morning and try to keep his face clean. He gets hot very quickly so some days I don't even dress him as our room is humid in the day. Unfortunately our room faces the sun so IDK if my sweat causes him to break out when we're asleep as well. When I wake up and check him his tummy and legs are clammy from being covered with my blanket and I'm hot and sweaty as well. The stand up fan as well as the ceiling fans are always on low but it still doesn't help. I can't wait to move my son outta this hell house
