I have had the same issue, mostly at night, no matter if I shower before bed or not, my Dr says this is normal and if it gets really bothersome to take antihistamines. I have taken them and it did seem to help, I use lotion as well, but it makes me feel even hotter, lol

Did you take them yet? Have they helped you?

My doctor prescribed a pill that helps with it. I would take it maybe 3 days a week. If not less. I really don't like taking medicine only if I have to take it. Mention it to your doctor and see how he or she feels about it.

Hi Michelle,
Itchy, prickly skin drives you mad, doesn’t it? Mine was mostly at night too. Antihistamines didn’t help. HRT got rid of the worst of it. It’s now been replaced with hypersensitivity. Natural fibres and no man made scratchy material has helped.
