2.5 year old doesn't talk

Hi my son is 2.5 years old and doesn't talk. Says momma and appa but I don't think he understands the meaning as he mumbles it whenever he likes..doesn't repeat after us. Doesnt follow a single step instruction. Always continues to do whatever he likes whether its dangerous for him or not. If we say no and take him away from stove he would go right back and tries to fight it. Would repeat it in a loop for 10-15 times until we distract him with something else..same for climbing on thjgs like climbing on Sofa headrests , dining table and kitchen coubtertops. I don't know whats going on..

So first question, is he bilingual?? Do you speak another language at the house?? Anyways, plz don’t worry, mine is 3 and he only started talking now after going to preschool! I was so worried about him not speaking that I took him to a team and they assessed him and they said he was fine! So I wish I didn’t worry that much! Also, if he is in fact bilingual every word in every language counts, you don’t count the same word as 1! If he’s not and you’re still worried, just look for a speech delay assessment in your county or schools nearby, it’ll give you some peace of mind
Hope that helps 🤗

My sons a bit the same.
Speaks some words but does show signs of possible autism.

we took him for speech assessment and there is a delay. He is also in waitlist to be seen by a developmental Pediatrician.
I speak a different language than my husband. My husband and his parents speak a different language and common language is English. So he definitely hears 2 others languages at home but we talk to him in English.
Just frustrated that he doesn't get anything and its hard that we have to just keep walking behind him all the time so he doesn't hurt himself by falling down from sofa headrest, table etc..

shower infront of children

Is it weird to shower infront of your children, or your children see you naked?
At what age should this stop?

I’m just looking at what everyone’s thoughts are as I have a 7 month old and at the moment it’s hard for me to shower without him getting upset.

We contact nap atm, otherwise I'd shower when he sleeps!

It’s easier to bring his play mat into the bathroom whilst I shower so i can at least wash, else i have to wait for my husband to arrive home at 5/6pm.

Keen to see what people's opinions are and how other people do this!

Bottle refusal

EBF and deciding I want a bit more flexibility so wanted to introduce a bottle so I can go out more.

She used to take one three months ago. Now she flat out refuses and cries - doesn’t matter if it’s expressed breastmilk or formula. Tried it in a sippy cup as well. What can I do?

GIRL DADS TAKING DAUGHTER TO BATHROOM IN PUBLIC

If a girl dad needs to take his daughter to the bathroom in public and there are no family bathrooms … I swear video online of a dad saying he uses the women’s bathroom but always knocks and announces ‘girl dad helping my daughter go to the bathroom’ and I love that idea and mens rooms are disgusting but wanted to see everyone’s thoughts
