How long were you not working after you had baby?

My husband thinks I should be working right away, but I said I’m pretty sure I will be healing and won’t be.

Right away? That’s craziness. I took 5 years out

First child three years, second four months, third nine months, fourth it will be four months.

You need absolutely minimum of six weeks for physical healing but ideally longer than that! Combined with the newborn stage (fourth trimester) of being on call all night your brain isn't the same as it was before 🫠!
