2 years old routine!!

Found my daughter is now sleeping between 9-10pm I will wake her at 7am and give her a nap that last around 1.30 minutes she is usually up by 2 but can’t seem to get her to sleep before 9pm!!!!! Anyone else experiencing this is it best to just now stop naps for an earlier bedtime ?

I don't know if some kids might need less sleep. He seem to get really cranky if he doesn't get a nap He used to go to bed at 8 before the summer but during the summer it was hard to get him down when it was still bright out. He never used to want to go to bed. We started a routine at 9 or just before where we tap at the watch and say it's 9 o clock and he grabs his stuff, says bye bye, and walks out the door himself and we take him upstairs.

See my daughter is the same if she wakes at 8 and no nap by 6 she is really tired and refuses to eat much but she will fall asleep by 7.30 and sleep through the night. See I just feel like if she wakes at 7 a 9pm bedtime is late. Maybe I’ll try a shorter nap and see how that works

Yeah summer changed our routine up a lot

Thanks for that

I’ve just put her down for a nap so I think I’ll keep it to one hour today and see how it goes

My LO still naps for 1.5-2 hours a day. She goes to bed 7:30/8 and will sometimes play in her crib until 9 and she is also up 6:30-7:30 in the morning.

I think it might be a 2 year old thing 😅 my little boy it’s also going to bed super late lately. He fights his sleep. I’m trying to shorten his naps as well as he refuses to nap but then it’s too tired by around 3/4 and falls asleep which means at least 6 hours more awake after he wakes up 🙈😬 Today he woke up super late and didn’t nap, before 8 pm he was asleep so I also think sometimes that it would be better if he dropped his nap but I know he is still young.
