Silver cross simplicity car seat

How big is your baby? Mine is 6 months next week and still been using her newborn insert. Most manufacturers will say it needs removing at a particular age/weight/length, but for most babys, they will still need it in, or there will be too much space around them.
The wedge, should be underneath the newborn insert. I took this out around 3.5months.

Ahh is it the yellow foam? I have took this out still have the seat bit but the headrest is now unclipped as she's too big, my daughter is just over 10 weeks

Shouldn’t need to remove the inserts that early, are they bum to buckle? If in Doubt the extended rear facing car seat Safety group on Facebook would be able to fit check with pictures and let you know which parts to remove for the best fit x

I've not removed the insert completely just the headrest and wedge, thank you though 😊

I think it's because the seat isn't flat to the chair, would help if it had wording though wouldn't it 🤣
