« Big baby FET IVF »

Went for my 20 weeks scan yesterday and was told that my baby was a « big baby ». Both me and my partner are tall but apparently it is a thing with IVF babies if they are from a frozen transfer.
They are going to monitor it quite closely but I wondered if anyone else heard of this? Does that mean I will have to have a C-section?

I hope it doesn’t mean big babies if FET IVF. My partner is 6ft2 and I’m only 4ft 11! 😅

I'm pregnant with an IVF FET baby but not been told its big 'yet'. If also not heard of this but who knows. I'm 28 weeks now so thin they should start monitoring growth soon.

Hi all, I’m also pregnant with an FET IVF baby although only 18 weeks. Have any of you also been told that you won’t be allowed to go past your due date and will be induced at this stage? I didn’t really want to be induced if i didn’t need to, and just wondered what other people in the same situation had been told x

Yeah I got told that they don’t let ivf babies go over. Something to do with the placenta. X

yes I've been told theh don't like you to go over your DD too. They would like to induce you. I've got a call next week with the hospital to discuss this.

Mine is ivf baby but from fresh transfer .. and is big!!… but I’m 5”10 and husband 6”6 … was never going to be small 😂 xx

I heard that size is just an estimate and not always accurate and deviations can be significant. Also having a FET baby with a tall partner 🤣 but havent had my 20 weeks scan yet and nothing so far about mandatory induction.

Baby girl has been measuring ahead at all my scans and they said it’s an IVF thing to me. I’ve got my 20 weeks in 2 weeks so I’ll let you know what they say. But funnily enough hubby is also 6’4 haha. Maybe it is a tall thing

Life is great as older single mom of 1, baby 2 at 45?

I’m 44 with a 5 year old and life is amazing. I’ve been raising this kid alone the whole time and I’m living a dream life where I live between the US, Thailand and Spain. I own a home, have a good remote job, keep my kid with me all day.

I want to have a second child. But not desperately. I’d need to borrow some semen from the bank and while I think it’s unfortunate to not know the origin of the semen and the possibility of 100 siblings , I’m open to it. My insurance covers IUI and IVF through my next birthday.

Hi everyone 🤗 I got a really faint line yesterday at 10 dpo and this morning I tested at 11 dpo and I can't see a line 😭 is there still a chance I could be pregnant ?🙏 and my HCG is fluctuating because it's so early? This test was from yesterday

Pregnancy test

I took this pregnancy test and then a few days later I looked at it again and noticed a very faint line but then I took 3 more on different days and they all came out negative. What’s going on? I’m tripping out because I see it but my husband says he doesn’t.

Do yall see it? There’s the original and another one that I added sharpness to and stuff to see the faint liner more better. I took more and they came out negative. So I’m so confused. Also that line didn’t appear immediately I noticed it like the next day.

Any ideas what’s happening with my temp?

Thought I had ovulated but now I’m not so sure, I didn’t record my temp on a couple of days because I’ve been unwell with a fever so it was a lot higher than it should of been

Compression Socks

Hey, for how long did everyone keep their compression socks on? I am also on blood thinning injections for 6weeks. Many thanks
