C section

So after a very traumatic experience with my first, I’m going to ask for an elective C-section. Anyone know when they would do this? My first came at 39. + 2 I’m worrying that they might leave it too late and im going to end up going through the same trauma. Thanks in advance

I’ve asked for one too. I’m being told from 37 weeks then from 39 weeks from all different people x

I was told 39 weeks but will have my date soon, so tbc. Maybe you can share your concerns over the date of the c section to bring it forward slightly.

I’m having an elective c section and it’s at 39 weeks however I am measuring big so my OB said we would keep an eye on it and move date accordingly. Address your concerns, that’s exactly what I did and it made me so much more compfortable.

I’ve requested a elective csection this time Around also, I have an appointment with my consultant on the 20th dev to book in a day, by then I will 36 weeks, my last one was at 39+1. I’m going to say it will Be around the 39 weeks mark xxx
