Accountability

Hey y’all!! So I’m new to this whole app and the group. I’m a 34 year old mom of 3 and has 3 c sections. I’m heavier than I’ve ever been and just over it. My husband and I decided to really work on our physical health this year so we’re eating better, both doing a calorie deficit and working out. BUT he has a gym membership and can go whenever but we can’t afford 2 memberships so I’m working out at home. If anyone else is really working at sticking to healthy eating and working out regularly I’d love an accountability partner! It’s so easy when you’re home alone all day to blow off your workout or eat the carbs because no one is around! But we’re going to the beach this fall and I’m determined to have a beach bod and not give up!! My ultimate goal is to lose 75 lbs and decrease my pants size by half!

Hey Chelsea!!!; I would love to be accountability partners!!!! I have about 20 more pounds to go to add to my 113 down. You got this. I mainly do home workouts with my 4 years old so I def understand not always being able to make it to the gym! I will message you!

I'm a bit off starting this journey, but I really hope ot works for you. I will be having my 3rd c section in 7 weeks and understand how hard it can be to get back on the fitness wagon for sure. Sometimes gyms do joint memberships.... might be worth seeing what is possible. Around us they do like buggy fitness in the parks and things like that, where you meet up with other mums and exercise. Other than that I use YouTube fitness work outs :) - Hope your journey goes well x

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Braxton hicks

I’m currently 34 weeks and have been experiencing braxton hicks for the past few weeks however have been having cramps almost like very strong period cramps In my lower stomach. I’ve mentioned this to my midwife and she only really asked if I’d been keeping hydrated and taking my vitamins which I am but didn’t really proceed to tell me if this was normal or related to braxton hicks also, has anyone else experienced this?

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Little girl turning herself sideways in next to me

My little girl tonight, has spun herself so she is lying sideways in her next to me, making me panic!

Is this normal at 4.5 months, do I just lie her back normally/vertically?

Labour??

I’ve had on/off mild period cramps since 9 last night, very irregular and very mild, but I just had one that woke me up. My waters haven’t gone and nor has my mucous plug… but could this be a sign that it’s close?! I’m 40+3 and desperate to meet her!
