Idk if my daughter had seizure and the doctor said don't take her to the hospital beacuse she's acting fine now. we were sitting there she was playing and then ran to the couch and sat with me and My family but then went limp and staring at the wall and not responding to us for like 3 to 5 minutes. She's better now going to look for a neurologist. Honestly don't know how to feel 😭😭

I’m sorry you had to experience that! Find a neurologist and explain what happened. My boyfriend is epileptic so I have some knowledge about seizures… she likely had what’s called an absence seizure, which are most common in children but will fade away as they grow. They are harmless just little moments where kids can’t respond and stare off into space. It may happen again it may not but they’re nothing to worry too much about. But find a neurologist to schedule an eeg! They will be able to see if she has any seizure activity in her brain. Hope this helps. 😊

The same thing happened to my friend's daughter while o was babysitting. It was so scary. We took her to the ER and they said it's a lot more common than you'd think for kids to have seizures. She had follow ups and they never figured out why it happened and it never happened again.

Hello, Epileptic here 💝💝.!
Honestly, the hospital won't do much. The most they can do is a MRI/CT scan and then give a referral for a Neurologist IF they see fit. Otherwise, unless if an event takes place in front of the ER doctor they can't do anything about a seizure. It sucks, I know. But it does sound like your LO was experiencing some form of seizure activity.
Some advice I can give you is..
•Time the events *always*. The Neurologist, or EMT, will want to know how long each seizure has lasted down to the second. The time is very important.
•Note each individual thing your LO was doing during the event. No matter how small it may seem. Did their eyes flutter, if so how many times.? Did they shake, or tremble.? Did any of their limbs jerk.? Were they completely ridgid.? Was their mouth open or shut.? No detail is too small. Notate everything.
If you're LO has an event lasting A) longer then 5M. Or B) 2 events in one day - Go To The ER IMMEDIATELY.!! Standard epilepsy protocol right there 👍❤️🩹.!

I hope you find your answers 💝💝✨✨🤗🤗

My son used to have that exact same type. Stare and drop. Definitely see a neurologist
