Miscarriage risks

Anyone know much about the risk percentages, currently around 7 weeks, heartbeat seen on a scan but still super anxious 😕

As says above it’s never 100% accurate but as time goes on the changes get less. Try this graph for reassurance https://datayze.com/miscarriage-chart

@Georgina I've just had a look at this website and oh my god it's amazing. The reassurer tool where you put your gestation and age and everything, it literally made me cry and brought me so much relief so thank you SO MUCH for sharing this ❤️

💜💜 you’re welcome! If you do this one as well it tells you reassuring things. https://datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer

I don’t know how accurate it is but I like that every day the chance decreases xx

@Georgina I love that you can click "reassure me" as many times as you want and it keeps telling you different things ❤️

I think that the “percentage risk” data is skewed somewhat. A lot of the time ages are lumped together, for example after a quick google one stufy “found that the overall chance of losing a pregnancy after week 5 is 21.3%.”

But the study hasn’t always taken into account the ages of the mothers. Someone aged 26 will have less risk than someone at 36, for example but it is not always clear. I would not go focusing it and causing unnecessary stress and worry xxx

Hi absolutely, please don’t take it as bible. However for me, I like that I can see that each day, the chances lower. Try this one where you can put in your age, weight and previous pregnancies

Or feel free to ignore if it’s not for you 💜💜💜

Once there has been a confirmed heartbeat, it drops from about 25% to 10%. Much lower after twelve weeks, but of course… there is no guarantee of anything. All the luck in the world to you xx

Is this little red bit on my section scar normal? It’s not oozing anything, doesn’t hurt but it’s the only bit on my scar like it so just curious! (19 days PP)
Thank you in advance! 🥰

Anyone else felt like this?

Hi, I’m 4 months postpartum, little one sleeps through the night and is formula fed, the last week I’ve felt extremely tired and very hungry! Just wondered if anyone else has felt this way/experienced this?

Help

I was getting pretty painful period cramps and during those, I had painful lower back cramps. I had these on and off for like a few hours so from about 10:30pm to 1am?

I’ve had no show, or anything like that.

Is this braxton hicks or early labour pains?

Early waters/pre term labour?

I can’t get checked until later today unfortunately. I can’t tell if I’m leaking/starting early. I definitely think I’m having braxton hicks yesterday and today.. i have some pain in my back but she is quite low down so hoping it’s just pressure, baby was a little quieter yesterday but she’s back to more normal movements today, but my underwear just seems to get so wet, especially after going to the bathroom. And I honestly can’t work out the smell, I’m pretty sure it’s just discharge/urine leaking but there’s that worry in my mind a little. Are there any other ways to know/check if it could be the start of it all?
