I give my son calpol on one of his feeding spoons- he just thinks it’s a purée and will take the whole amount bit by bit xx
When my son was in the hospital, he wouldn’t take calpol or ibuprofen or any meds once his NG tube was out - all the doctors said it was comepletly fine to mix into formula. But do it into an ounce of her milk first so you can ensure she’s had all the calpol then give her the rest of her milk! That’s how we do it now with our LO when he needs it! X
Bit of a strange one but we used to squeeze the syringe in her mouth then blow gently on her face, it takes them by surprise and they swallow. Not sure where I read it but it worked when our LO refused and spat it out😂
I have this struggle too, tried so many things but now I put some in with a spoon or syringe then put her dummy in straight away and tickle her throat 🤣 it works most of the time x
We give her it in a bottle teat cause she won’t take it out the syringe. She went through a stage of only taking it if it was in couple oz of milk as well x
I put it in a few ounces of milk to ensure she drinks it all, (my daughter is a lot older though!) I saw someone put it on a spoon with some yogurt or something if she is weaning. Hope this helps!
