My doctor hasn’t mentioned it yet but after a year TTC and only problem been age (I’m currently 42 and all tests were perfect), I’m researching into CoQ10. But I’m confused on the dosis since there’s loads of information and not one clear path. Can anyone share their experience on the daily dosis when trying to conceive naturally? Thanks!

I was taking this when I was trying to concieve. I was taking 200mg once a day xx

I am the same as Jessica one a day of 200mg xx

Thanks! Can I ask what brands did you use?

CoQ10 200mg - 120 Vegan Capsules... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07RF8GRGT?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I use this one from Amazon , it was recommended to me !

My doctor said 600mg a day … so I do 2-3 capsules a day. The book “It Starts with the Egg” recommends Ubiquinol as the form of CoQ10 so that’s the one I take!

Thanks!

can I ask what brand the doctor recommended?

I am 40 and after a CP in January started taking Proceive max which has coq10 in it. I fell pregnant in the same cycle started taking it and so far all good x

I’m on 600mg a day as that is meant to be the bare minimum, but I know someone who was on 900mg!

I’m 41, I found out that there are 2 different types of coQ10, there is one we can’t absorb called Ubiquinone but the one we can is called Ubiquinol.
I strongly suggest you look at the small print on coq10 as the one listed above is one to avoid i as bought it and ended up giving it to my partner and buying a different brand

400mg daily until you get a positive test
I fell pregnant within 3 months of taking 400mg of coq10

600mg

thanks! Which one did you use?

thanks, I have that one in my Amazon basket. I’m just so confused with the dosis 🤷🏻♀️

thanks! Which one do you use? I’m afraid of taking too much to the point it may change my health. I’m not a supplements person, hence the big doubts. My tests were all super healthy, the fertility doctor said that if it doesn’t happen it’s because of age at the moment, so that’s why I’m hesitant since I can’t find if there’s any side effects to COq10 at all

I started off on 1 capsule a day (200mg) in the morning then after a while I stepped it up to 1 in the morning and 1 at lunch time. It’s best not to take in the evening as it’s a stimulant. So 400mg in total 🥰 xx

the same one Laura has shared x

thank you!!

thanks!!!

Serving says 1 x per day, but I take 2 as recommended to get the 600mg I’ve been advised is best!

My fertility consultant this week recommended between 400 and 600mg x

The doctor didn’t recommend anything specific, just the 600mg dose. The book recommended the firm Ubiquinol though!

I’m the same about supplements … I spent so much time cutting out everything in beauty products, food, plastics, etc. and then I’m adding in so many supplements thjnkjng, “Is this really good?” because I read it in a book. But I ran through every supplement I take by my fertility specialist and he was a go on all of them, plus I Googled side effects and taking too much and all seemed quite safe!!! I’m 38.5 and the book “It Starts with the Egg” is helpful. There’s also a fertility doctor here in the US, Natalie Crawford, and she had an Instagram and YouTube channel filled with SO MUCH helpful information!
This is what I take:
Ubiquinol 3x a day
vitamin C
Vitamin E
Prenatal with choline
Vitamin D
Vitamin B12
R-Alpha lipoic acid

I take a low does of vitamin E because it’s the only one I remember thinking I wanna be careful I don’t take too much! I doubled up on the Vitamin D too.

My husband takes:
Ubiquinol 1x a day because he won’t take pills more than once a day. Lol
Selenium with vitamin e
Zinc
R-alpha lipoic acid
Methylfolate
DHA
B12
