Sterilising MAM dummies on the go

Sorry if this is a silly question but I’m going away and have no access to a microwave and this is how I usually sterilise my MAM dummies.
I know the method with a pan in boiling water, but I won’t have access to this either.
Is my only option to use cold water sterilising tablets?
Taking a whole steriliser for just for a few dummies, seems a bit much.
Thank you for any help!

They have wipes that you can purchase for pacifiers. That's what I use

We have the Milton dummy steriliser, it’s small and so handy to have for on the go!

Avatar

Milton wipes are good for sterilising on the go x

Avatar

Did they not come in a clear box when you bought them as they can be sterilised in that and are good for 48 hours

We have a nubby uv dummy steralizer takes 1 min

I have the uv dummy steriliser too… best thing ever x

They have wipes for them specifically or if your driving u can always stop at a gas station they usually have a microwave

Avatar

Just pour some boiling water on them. I just wash mine now anyway.

Avatar

I would just put really hot sink water with soap together and wash them in that. That’s how I do mine.

Some it’s just wash then pour boiling water over them and allow to air dry and cool - eg the Bibs dummies are sterilised this way. So I assume can do the same with MAM. The portable UV steriliser is good to have anyway especially for on the go if you’re not sure if something has touched the dummy when out etc

Sleeping position?

Does anybody else’s newborn sleep in an odd position? Or can anyone tell me why my baby does this? It looks super uncomfortable and no matter how many times I readjust him he goes back into this same position. He favourites the left side as well, he never does this on the other side.

First time mom issues

Ever since I became a mother, I get criticized for almost everything.

I breastfeed, and I constantly hear that “breast milk doesn’t fill the baby up” and that I should give formula.

I’m currently unable to work, and I hear things like, “This is America people don’t stay home with kids, put the baby in daycare,” even though I’ve applied and haven’t been approved yet.

My child feels safe enough to be herself when I’m around, and somehow that turns into, “The baby is too clingy you need to put her in daycare.”

When my baby cries, I drop everything to comfort her, and I’m told I shouldn’t do that because I’m “making her clingy.”

I didn’t grow up dreaming of becoming a mother, but God chose me to be this child’s mother, and I intend to give her all my love, care, time, and dedication. It is my mission.

I pray to God every day.

The life I imagined didn’t happen, but I am grateful for what I’ve learned in these past four months.

I’ve learned to speak softly. I’ve learned patience.

What more could I ask for?

Every day, I just thank God for sending me my little honey bun. 💛
