Butt rash with postpartum underwear
Hey all! I’m one week post-birth, having a lot of itching and irritated skin on my buttocks and in between, which I feel is likely due to the post partum diapers I’ve been wearing. Has anyone else had this problem? What kind of cream to use, any brands out there that work better than others?

Like Katie said, hydrocortisone cream! I used the Frida Mom boy shorts and Always Discreet underwear, and I broke out in a horrible rash to the point it hurt to sit. The hydrocortisone cream helped me out sooo much.
Yea I’m using always discreet too! Ok I’ll try the steroid cream thank you!
I think that may just be due to hormones. I've had that issue, too. The cream should help, though. Apparently itchy skin, even on your butt, can happen on and off for weeks postpartum.
Oh no so sorry this is happening to you! My doc told me to keep using the mesh undies from the hospital with pads to avoid rash. Hope you get better soon!
My doctor actually prescribed an antifungal for like jock itch. It’s the worst!
