6 month old breastfed baby boy won’t sleep

Hey mommas , my son is 6 months and is very dependent on being breastfed to fall asleep. It had been every 2 hours he was up and thankfully he’s now only up about 4 times a night and needs fed to relax and go back to sleep. Anyone else in the same boat? Or on the other side of this and can offer advice

Hey Mary! Totally can relate. I breastfed my son for 18 months and in the beginning he needed me several times throughout the night to breastfeed him back to sleep. After 7 months of that, we decided to very gradually start sleep training. We used the Ferber method and after two nights he was sleeping through the night. I still breastfed him to sleep right at bed time because that worked for us but he didn’t wake at all and started sleeping 11-12 hours straight. Good luck!

Thanks so much for your message Devynne 💕

Mines does the same but we hope that sleeping through the night will happen soon. I’m like a human pacifier now.
