How do you deal with the loneliness?

Now my partners gone back to work he does 12 hours shifts and then he also does some gigs in the evenings, it’s just me and my boy most of the time. A lot of my friends don’t have babies or kids they are out drinking or partying so I don’t see them as often now. I’m just getting very lonely and not knowing what to do with myself and making me feel quite upset.

I know exactly what it feels like as I could of wrote your post myself. I ensure I have a bit of structure to my life and try and meet people nearby.. even though I’m incredibly lonely a lot. I’m trying to avoid going into a depression again and as it’s sunny wester currently I think we’ll why not get out the house!

I got so lonely I went to a health visitor drop in centre and talked to a lady there who does free sessions for you and baby. She signed me up as it’s free and two minutes from my house. I met a few mums there and honestly it made my morning yesterday as I was SO lonely I felt apart of something. So long story short - see if there is any classes (free or paid) nearby where you can try and meet new people. Even if it’s an hour a week it makes you feel like you have a purpose and gives some structure

I guess that’s why this App was created. Try to connect with mom friends in your area. Attend any mom group activities or baby group meet ups. This mom life can get very lonely
