Same I’m not sure if it was dinner I had made, I added mushroom for the first time. But I did a warm bath and kept him near the fan because he ended up getting a fever
Is it possible it could be pollen?
If it is eczema, it does sometimes take a little to clear up, but it is manageable. It possibly could be the dryer sheet. I switched to a fragrance-free dryer sheets.
We haven’t switched anything in just thinking maybe a dryer sheet was at the back of the dryer and I missed it. All her items have been rewashed to be safe. Hoping it’s not eczema but also hoping this reaction fades quickly. I just find it odd that it won’t go away even after multiple doses of Benadryl
Now that I think about it, I think that happened to my son as well. He has eczema and it took a little bit after changing his laundry detergent to see a difference. We were prescribed some cream and that helped. We sometimes still use it when he has the rare flare up.
@Monique Jose Duvall Yes she’s had a regular bath and an oatmeal bath with her regular sensitive lotion after. The only thing that slightly helps is the Benadryl. You can see where the hives were theres pink marks but no bumps. The second we hit the 6 hour mark it is back and way worse.
Have you tried giving her a bath and putting lotion on her after her reaction?
This happened with my little after she had something with cashews! Gave Benadryl but it wasn’t really getting better. She was really lethargic and started wheezing. Ended up taking her to ER. They gave a small dose of prednisone for babies. It helped tremendously. Hope your little one gets better and I would suggest an allergy skin test for peace of mind moving forward.
