NUMB HANDS ARE HERE TO STAY???

Hey loves. Currently 38 weeks and 2 days and I have absolutely had it with the pins & needles/numbing of my hands. It started at 37 weeks, and has progressively gotten worse. Not only is it beyond frustrating but I worry this will continue once my baby girl is born. Any tips????🄲

My hands have been doing that to! And my legs all the way to my feet.

My nurse and doc said to get hand braces for when you sleep. I have the same thing it suckss.

I have been having that feeling too in my fingers but idk if it’s just been there so long I don’t realize it so much anymore or maybe it’s gotten better but it’s pretty faint now. I had tried getting compression gloves but got the finger less ones n didn’t see where it helped so I returned them so maybe you could try the full compression gloves n see how it helps but it can be annoying to remove so often to wash your hands or when you are going to the restroom which is quite often

But I would say you are about to drop baby soon anyways so might as well wait it out and see what happens after baby then if doesn’t change you ask doctor about your options

@Cyana this doesn’t travel to my feet thank god! But I also have compression stockings which have helped for swelling, definitely recommend. Not sure it will help with numbness/pins and needles but I would give it a shot. And hydrate lots mama!šŸ¤

@Kayla do you feel it’s been helping at all? I have them for my legs but for swelling. At this point I’m open to anything!

@Kimberley I am going to order them just to try and see if it gives any type of relief šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø it’s so annoyingly painful.. from dropping things, to just having no sense of feeling in my fingers.. I pray it goes away when the baby’s born, but when my mom had me she had the same thing so badly and couldn’t even hold me. I can’t imagine that… Plus I can’t wear my wedding ring because they’ve also been swollen and that devastates me! Thank you so much for the advice šŸ¤

My hands and fingers are numb too; feeling all the pins and needles and one of my finger is so stiff I couldn’t even move it without feeling pain. My doctor said its normal since my hands and joints are swollen.

@Rachelle it’s terrible… hang in there love šŸ’—

Ya @Natalie Catherine no prob you can search Amazon for gloves for corpal tunnel syndrome arthritis compression gloves

@Natalie Catherine I have not gotten any yet, I'm just trying to deal with it and hopefully it goes away on its own.

It was happening a lot to me too! I had to go back n forth between pregnancy pillow and regular pillows. Lots of walking.
