NHS say your first appt should be around 10 weeks. In both of my previous pregnancies it’s been when I’ve been between 9-10 weeks. Totally normal and nothing to worry about- they can carry out all the necessary tests at 10 weeks. Your first scan can be anywhere between 11-14 weeks.
My midwife rang me last Wednesday, after 3/4 weeks since I self referred. I went in for my blood tests Thursday (7W6D) and my booking appointment is June 8th (9W6D). My first scan isn’t until June 23rd (12W). I have paid for early scans as I couldn’t go three months without confirmation 😅
Generally your first midwife appointment is between 8 and 12 weeks but 10 is the standard and then you have a scan around 12 weeks and another around 20 weeks Here's a breakdown of what you should have and when https://www.nhs.uk/pregnancy/your-pregnancy-care/your-antenatal-appointments/
@Lindsay I have my first appointment, they called me to book it in. But it’s only a telephone appointment. They said they’d book me in for the initial tests etc at that appointment.
