OTD timing

Hi everyone, I’m interested in how many days after a FET everyone’s test day is - on my fresh cycle it was 13 days after the transfer. And this time it is 15 days after transfer (i.e. transfer on Thursday 25th May & test day is Friday 9th June). I’ve heard some people on here having OTD on day 12! Any idea why this isn’t standard? I feel really hard done by this time having to wait any extra day!!

My OTD was 16 days after retrieval so 13days post transfer but we had a fresh transfer. I think it's down to the clinic! It's a tough wait and honestly I only made it to day 8 post transfer!

It’s a horrible wait! I tested early both previous times because I’d started bleeding heavily after a week, but this time there is no blood, which I assume is a good sign, but means I have no excuse to test other than that I’m impatient and can’t wait!!

My OTD was 13 days past 5 day transfer I couldn’t wait though and tested after 10 days 😬😅 I watched the making babies series with Alex Jones and kings fertility hospital always seemed to say 11 days so I was gutted when I realised mine was longer !!

Mine for a FET has always been 10 days post transfer with a 5 days embryo (blastocyst). I think this is because at this stage you are 4 weeks pregnant in gestational age.

I think it depends whether your transfer is at day 3 or 5 and if your test is a blood test or hpt. Mine is a hpt 14dp5dt

I called the clinic on Friday to check my test date was correct, and they told me it was. Today is 11 days post 5 day transfer, and I don’t know how I’ll wait another 4 days! Do I test early?!

I was going out of my mind by this point and ended up testing 😅 it’s all personal preference and if waiting is causing you too much stress! Let me know what you decide ! X

What I’m worried about is that I won’t trust the result, and might go even more insane wondering if it’s truely the result or not!

That’s fair ! I got lucky and had a really strong positive but just for peace of mind I tested everyday until my OTD to make sure it wasn’t chemical etc if it had of been negative I think I would have still had a seed of doubt it may change but the likelihood of this is very rare x

I’ve been told to test at home 11dpt (5 day embryos)

(By Kings)

So I could wait and tested today (12dp5dt), and it was a very strong positive!! I couldn’t believe it! But now I feel like I’ve jinxed it by testing early 🤦🏼‍♀️ wondering if I should test every day @Ellen? How would I know if it was a chemical?

Yaaaaay congratulations! I tested each day until my actual test day and then a week later with the digital to see it change from 2-3 to 3+ now I’ve seen the 3+ I’ve stopped testing 🥰 waiting for my 7 week scan now on the 19th. If it’s a chemical the line would start to fade and a few days later it wouldn’t show positive anymore x

Ah ok, that makes sense. I’ll probably do something similar!
