HIPP stage 1
Starting the stage 1 Dutch version for my almost 4 month old son, been reading about it not being FDA approved and lacking iron content requirement of over 1mg per 100 calories.
Is this safe to use?

We used the Hipp uk and it was a game changer!! My son spit up so much on American formulas when we switched from breastmilk but this stuff was amazing. I got the uk version bc the box was in English and I could actually read it 😂 I read about that too but we didn’t start until after 6 months when he was already eating solids so I just made sure he had iron in his food. I’m not a doctor by any means obviously but you could just pair it with an infant iron supplement until baby is on solids 🤷🏼♀️
that makes me feel better! I was also just going to ask his dr if he needs an iron supplement at this stage. I wish I got the uk version too, can’t read anything, is it just 1:1 formula and water ratio?
Yes! Mine was a blue scoop that was half the size of the American ones and it was 1 scoop formula per 1 oz water!

mommyformula.com and I think formuland.com but I had better luck with mommy formula. We had some shipping issues with formuland! But it always shipped and got here so fast!
