22 month old started walking!

Hi, my daughter is still not walking at 20 months and I’m really panicking about it. This is so reassuring I have not been the only one in this situation and there is light at the end of the tunnel. I’m sick of the judgement from people when it’s hard enough. So pleased for you 😊

Yay! My little boy started JUST before he turned 21 months too! Last of his friends to learn and I was getting so worried about it! He started taking the odd step at 18months then stopped then randomly stood up and walked across the room nearly 2 months later 🤣 that was about 3 weeks ago and he’s not stopped! Now I actually believe all the people who tried to make me feel better by saying he’ll do it in his own time 🥰

@Joanne hello, I’m sorry to hear you’re panicking. Believe me when I say I’ve been there. I was the same with the judgements too, I found it hard. I truly believe they just do it when they’re ready. My gp said he wishes the guideline for walking was 2 as he sees it so often! He doesn’t refer until age 2. Hope that’s reassures you too x
