Moving!
Hi, we’re hopefully moving the the Queen Creek/Gilbert area, but open to suggestions as we just started looking. We’re coming to visit from Portland (soooo sick of the rain and dreariness) next week, so I would love some advice on areas to check out.
Also, I’m hoping to get a head start on making friends in the area…are the people generally pretty friendly and outgoing there? I know every place has its own vibe, so I’m curious.
Last thing lol…if any of you suffer from bad allergies and have lived somewhere else…how does Arizona compare, with your allergies there?

People are pretty friendly and nice in Apache Junction and East Mesa. Gilbert is also a lovely area. Haven’t been to Queen Creek but heard good things about it.

I love the people in Queen Creek and San Tan Valley. Also, I am in STV.
The housing at the east end of Occotillo usually is cheaper, and close enough to Queen Creek to have fun with the kids.
