How many days after implantation bleeding was your BFP?

I am in the thick of an unplanned pregnancy scare and this awful two week wait. Backstory: So I just had my IUD removed (May 22) due to it being misplaced. I switched to the NuvaRing and like the responsible adult I am, forgot to put it in after my cycle smh. Which wouldn’t have been a problem because I’m a divorcee and don’t regularly have sex. Welp, as fate would have it, I had sex like 5 days after my period went off. Now I’m deep in the chats trying to find the difference between an evaps and very faint positives. Learning more than I ever planned on the various DPO symptoms lol. Additional info: LMP 05/31, sex 06/09, dark brown spotting 06/20 (highly suspected implantation bleeding), followed by twinges on my left side, & negative tests since 06/22. I have been testing daily and going crazy as to whether I’m seeing evaps or faint positives. Today’s tests looked like faint positives. Symptoms crampy, heavy breasts (painful to go without bra), nausea, headache, exhaustion, and emotions all over the place. I’m 12DPO and going crazy about the possibilities. It’s so hard not to obsess. Even though this wasn’t planned, I’m actually kind of excited about an extra little one to love on. But I need to see a darker line before I’m convinced.

Most tests won’t tell you an accurate read until up to 6 days before a missed period, try getting the clear blue digital pregnancy test, there will be no question or confusion with that result.

I’m not seeing any lines 🤔

The lines appear from the hcg hormones. You only create hcg if your pregnant and it gets higher every day. It's rare to have false positives. My first pregnancy the line was faint so I thought it was a dud test and then my hubby reread the box that said even Faint Lines are positive. More tests confirmed

If you see a line even very faint you can always ask the Dr for a blood test

I didn’t have implantation bleeding. I also have irregular periods so I didn’t take a pregnancy test until 10 days after I was supposed to get my expected period. I honestly highly recommend waiting until your period is due because testing before (in my experience) only leads to anxiety, confusion, and often disappointment. Your most accurate result will be from the day of your expected period and I know it’s not ideal to have to play the waiting game but that’s my sincere advice. Wishing you luck 🍀 !!

@Naomi they are so faint, it’s hard to even photograph. I feel like I’m hallucinating myself. I told myself that I have to squint, angle, or hold it to the light to see it, it doesn’t count lol. I will be retesting for sure. Just curious about everyone else’s experiences.

@Taylor thank you so much. This is very good advice. Because I am honestly so consumed by this all, anxiety has been inevitable. I really appreciate your kindness and reply. ❤️

@Ashlea I am planning to go on Thursday for a beta-HCG, which would be one day after my missed period. If my period doesn’t come. Thank you, this is great advice ❤️

@Breana these faint lines are something else! I’ve been down a rabbit hole regarding evaps versus faint positives. It’s so nerve wrecking. Thank you for your response and congratulations to you ❤️

@Jolene thank you, I’ll try one soon and see if that gives clarity. ❤️

Been awhile, but I didn’t find out I was pregnant til 18dpo (negative one week then positive the next, seen baby at 5weeks)

Let me just clarify, you’re due your period in 2 days time if I’m reading all this right? If so, I’d say that you’re not pregnant as during each of my pregnancies I’ve had very clear positives 6/7 days before I’m due a period and by 12/14 days it’s very clear it’s a positive and dark. I could be wrong but the line should be pretty strong by now

I can see lines on both of them x
