I had my 24week appt and baby weighed approximately 1lb 8oz wich to me sounded good because my pregnancy apps say baby weighs 1lb 5oz but last appt she was in the 60 percentile for size and this time they says she’s in the 30 percentile, I was told that it can change depending on when they have growth spurts and also size of parent sometimes so maybe it more average for my size being 5”0 but my partner is 6”0 baby is a girl though

My ob hasn’t given percentiles, but baby weight 1lb 4oz. My appointment was 23+5.

My daughter was 1lb 10oz at 24 weeks and was put in the 63rd percentile. We’ll find out what my little guy weighs on Monday but he was already almost 1lb at 20 weeks so… 😳

Same my baby was already 1 lb at the 20 week scan so I’m like 😳😳

23w 1lb 10oz and 97th percentile

I missed my 20-week appt, but I saw my OB at 23w3d, and baby boy weighed in at 1lb 6oz. Was told that was the 52nd percentile. I expected a bigger than average baby as I myself am 6ft1in and plus size. So I'm a bit surprised at his size. I guess time will tell.

im 23 weeks wks and hes 1lb 8oz

1lb 8 oz as well!

I don’t know the percentiles, they’ve never said anything. On my last appointment I was around 22 weeks. And she was 1 pound 3 oz. So they just said she’s right on track for the week that I was on

I just had an appointment at 26 weeks, but they haven’t told me the baby’s weight at any of my appointments? Last time I went in they just measured my belly and said she was measuring right on time? Like what does that even mean and how can you tell by just my belly??

fundal height. If your uterus is measuring more than 2cm behind or ahead than the amount of weeks you are, doctors may suspect either large for gestational age or fetal growth restriction.

oh thank you! That’s actually very interesting and I had no idea! They didn’t explain this to me at all

of course! I actually didn’t know much about this my first pregnancy either until my doctor got the tape measure and explained it!

My dr has never mentioned the weight of the baby! My mom keeps asking and I didn’t even think it was a thing 🤣 how can the tell the weight??

13oz at 20 weeks but I don’t anticipate having another growth scan for some time so idk right now at 24 weeks. Here to normalize this.

My baby was 1.4 and 39th percentile! 24 weeks exactly at the appt! She said it fluctuates but this young babies are usually “on target”

13 oz at 20w2d and 1lb 13 oz at 24w2d. 93% and they’ve made the comment of possibly having a 9+lb baby full term😳

I was basically 24 weeks 1 lb 4oz

I had my appointment at 26w +1 instead of 24. 2lbs and 8oz, but he’s pretty big messing in the 96th percentile

At 23w+3d he was weighing 1 lb 5 oz

22 weeks and my twins were 1.6lb each

1LB and 12oz at 25weeks, percentile 50%

I also want to know how they tell the baby weight? Ive never been told my baby weight.

I think they go off of all of baby’s measurements to estimate the weight. Like head circumference, belly size, femur length etc.

On my a anatomy scan (20 weeks), baby was 15oz and 99%.
Last week I did an extra 3D/4D (23 weeks) and baby was measuring 1lb 12oz and 78%.
So I don’t really know which one I should follow 🤷🏼♀️

it jus mean that’s what the baby was at 20 weeks and now at 23 weeks that’s what the baby is
It will keep changing as the baby grows
Even outside of your belly

aaah ok. Thank you. I didn’t know it would be different percentiles defined. 🙏🏼
